NIPOALOHA is a brand based on traditional Hawaiian shirts.  Many different stories have been told through generations about the origins of the Aloha shirt, and one of them is that Japanese immigrants began creating them from Japanese kimonos. 

We focus on using traditional techniques to create silk kimono patterned fabrics and Kyoto's Yuzen-dye to print ancient artwork from Japan, such as Hokusai and Jakuchu. They also collaborate with contemporary artists and create new prints and patterns for their Aloha shirts.

The brand name contains a Hawaiian word ʻNIPOAʼ(Japanese) and ʻALOHAʼ (which means ʻhello,ʼ ʻthank you,ʼ and ʻgood byeʼ )

VINTAGEと呼ばれている1930-1950年代当時の和柄アロハシャツ（着物アロハシャツ）は、現在ではコレクター垂涎の一品となり、高額で取引されております。
