日本古来の神事、相撲。塩を撒き、大地を踏みしめて土中の邪気を払い、豊穣を願う。
華やかな様式美と格式ある礼法を重んじ、 正々堂々、技と力を競い合う。丸い土俵で力士がぶつかり合う様は、まさに迫力満点である。
豊作を祝い、感謝するために捧げられ、振舞われるのは、日本の「酒」、日本酒である。
この日本酒のもつ華やかな「吟醸香」をテーマとして創り上げたのがこの香りである。
トップノートに日本酒の吟醸酒の香りを使い、力士たちの風格、美しい所作、立姿を表現した。
ミドルからラストにかけては、フローラルムスクに少量のバニラで、丁髷を結うときに使われる瓶付け油の甘い香りを表現した、力強いエステルブーケの香りである。

Sumo, an ancient Japanese ritual, involves throwing salt and stomping the ground to purify the earth and pray for bountiful harvests.
It values elegant forms and formal etiquette, where wrestlers compete fairly in skill and strength.
The sight of rikishi colliding in the circular ring is truly powerful.
To celebrate and give thanks for a good harvest, sake, Japan’s traditional rice wine, is offered and enjoyed.
This frag rance is inspired by the elegant “ginjo aroma” of sake.

From the middle to the base notes, a strong ester bouquet is created with floral musk and a hint of vanilla, reminiscent of the oil used to style the traditional topknot (chonmage).
