5つの大阪野菜の雫から、7色のタオルができました。
綿の種が、土の中から発芽し花を咲かせ実をつける。その実が糸の原料となり、織ってタオルになる。 タオルづくりにとって農業は、切っても切れない、たいせつな存在といえます。 ですが、農作物を育てつくる人たちの思いは、つかう人にまで届きにくいように感じます。 わたしたちは、さまざまな野菜など食材を原料として使うことで、 つくる人たちの思いを伝えるタオルとして4つのタオルができあがりました。
自然の色をそのままに
南大阪の特産野菜である水なす、泉州たまねぎ、松波きゃべつ、バジルなどの実や皮、葉などを選別し そこから色の抽出を行って染料をつくります。 それを独自の技法によってタオルを染色することで、野菜が本来持っているやさしい色彩や、 味わい深い色味を、褪せることなく表現しています。 Mizu Eggplant, Senshu onion, Matsunami cabbage, basil, all specialties of the Southern Osaka region, are first sorted from fruit, to skin and them to leaves, each color is carefully extracted to make the dye. In our unique technique of towel dyeing, we are able to preserve the original colors of the vegetables and keep the feel of nature without the fading.

従来の草木染に比べ洗濯時に色落ちしにくく、耐久性もあるので、さまざまな用途でご使用いただけるタオルです。 また、染色する季節、環境により染め上がりの表情が微妙に異なるのも、天然素材を使用しているからこその魅力。その違いも含めてお楽しみください。 Compared to conventional vegetation dyeing techniques, our dyes are highly durable and less likely to fade even after to continual use. As our dyes are resourced from nature, depending on the season and the environment of dyeing, the colors produced may differ subtly. Therefore, each of our products are unique and have a one of a kind feel, a difference we hope our customers enjoy.
