袋谷タオルは、1926年 大正15年大阪泉佐野市で創業いたしました。
昭和37年頃に先代が、ジャガード織機によって会社名や旅館名を織り込む
「袋織りタオル」を開発しました。

 袋谷タオルでは、ジャガード織機で織り上げた生地を泉州タオルの
「後ざらし」によって仕上げていくという製法でタオルをつくります。

この伝統技術と泉州タオル伝統の「後ざらしと後染め製法」の良さを活かし
新たなタオルとして立ち上げたファクトリーブランド「雫〜SHIZUKU〜」は、
大阪・泉州地域の特産野菜である「水なす」「泉州たまねぎ」「松波キャベツ」「彩誉にんじん」など、
新鮮な野菜の実や皮から抽出した天然染料で染め上げたタオルです。
地場産業である農業と泉州タオルをコラボレーションさせる取り組みです。

さらに「NOKORI-FUKU のこり福」では、
サステナブルな循環への取り組みとして、環境に負荷をかけない廃棄食材を利用。
大阪産のワイン、クラフトビールや抹茶の "のこり"もので染め上げました。
糸にもこだわり、厳選した綿を使うことでワンランク上の柔らかさと吸水性を
兼ね備えた、新しいタオルが誕生しました。

FUKUROYA TOWEL 
Fukuroya Towel was founded in lzumisano, Osaka in 1926. Around 1958, our predecessor developed the bag weave towel, this allowed for us to offer the service of weaving company's names and branding into the towel using a jacquard loom. 
At Fukuroya Towel, our towels are produced on a jacquard loom and finished using a method unique to Senshu Towels. 
The SHIZUKU towel series was launched utilizing the traditional techniques and post-dyeing methods perfected by Senshu towels and incorporating specialty vegetables from the Senshu region of Osaka. By extracting the rich natural colors from Senshu onions, Matsunami cabbage, Ayahomare carrots and others we are able to create towels dyed by nature and to form an important connection with the local agriculture industry. 
NOKORI-FUKU utilizes local Osaka food waste to make our natural dyes in an initiative to increase sustainability and environmental protection. In addition, the yarn used to create NOKORI-FUKU is carefully selected from top quality cot

日本の佇い（たたずまい）どこか懐かしいデザインを日本の家庭や日常で使いやすい規格に作りました。

扇・麻の実をモチーフにしたデザインを凹凸の織り柄で表現し、表裏の表情の違いも楽しんでお使いいただけます。
末広がりの形から発展や繁栄を表す「扇」と、長寿の象徴の「亀」のデザインで縁起が良く、
「麻」は成長が早くまっすぐ伸びることから 子供の健やかな成長や魔除け、厄除けの意味があり、お祝いギフトなどにも最適です。
パイル糸には熟成綿を使用しています。糊の使用を最小限におさえ織っているため、風合いは柔らかく吸水のよい仕上がりです。
